Are you ready to escape winter for a long weekend to restore and replenish your mind, body and spirit? Our Moroccan wellness retreat is the perfect antidote for the winter blues for anyone ready to wring out the old and create space for the new.
Our setting for this Wellbeing Weekend is one of our favourite Marrakesh-centre riads, chosen for its amazingly central yet peaceful, location and ambience.
Our home for the few days during our stay is a lovely little haven – just six lovely, individually designed rooms, in addition to the atmospheric central courtyard and large roof terrace, surrounded by palm trees and plants. The sound of birdsong is ever-present.
In common with the best Riads, food is super-fresh and delicious, and the service is unfailingly warm, efficient and friendly, with the owners experienced at hosting groups, and also keen yoga practitioners!
This long weekend yoga retreat in the heart of our favourite city, Marrakech, has been designed to appeal to your senses, restore your equilibrium and invite a fresh perspective.
Throughout the course of this three-night break, we’ll be providing a total of five mindful yoga and meditation classes, on the roof terrace or in the beautiful central courtyard. These classes, combined with an amazingly tranquil setting and fabulous vegetarian cuisine will help re-balance mind and body. Beginners to yoga/meditation are very welcome.

We all loved it so much the first time around that for a few special days in September 2020 we are returning to one of our favourite retreat hang-outs – the sanctuary of Casa Paco D’ilhas – a charming guesthouse dating as far back as 1869. We guarantee love at first sight! Wake up to the sound of birds, practice surrounded by the lush green garden, enjoy a meal on the cute veranda and then – try out surfing at one of Europe’s most beautiful surf spots!
This is a great opportunity to escape the daily grind again to restore and replenish your mind, body and spirit? Our Portuguese weekend is the perfect trip to extend your summer. You will have the opportunity to enjoy daily yoga sessions to energize your body and soul and then find the time to hit the beach or how about trying surfing? Every day will not only stimulate the senses but also the taste-buds, as you will love, love, love eating the gourmet vegetarian delights on offer, paired with tantalising wine choices by Amanda. We will start each evening with an informal wine tasting – forget stuffy, poncy wine lessons – here, we will be out in the garden, by the pool or under the trees, finding out what tickles our taste buds, focusing on local gems that you’ll be able to find at home to bring the holiday vibe no matter what the weather brings!

Whether you want to swim in a clear blue pool or warm your bones in the beautiful Hamman in the medina of Marrakesh. Whichever retreat you pick there’ll be plenty of time for sunny snoozes on a terrace or roof top, losing yourself in the souk lanes or waves of Ericeira.

Laid-Back & Fun
Each yoga weekend is bespoke depending on the programme or idea we are working with. But often the Yoga will be a mix of Hatha flow in the mornings to awaken your energy and yin/restorative yoga with yoga nidra in the evening to set you up for a restful night’s sleep.
The retreats are laid-back and designed to be fun! We can cater for different abilities and issues – no one will be left behind.
Refine Your Yoga Practice
All of our classes will be progressive over the week-end and will take place in the rustic open-sided garden studio and yoga yurt.
Our retreats offer you a much sought after opportunity to develop or refine your yoga practice whilst experiencing lots of fun to put a smile on your face.
Expect challenging, fair and accessible sessions.
Who doesn’t love a bit of pamper time – such a treat! You have come to relax and unwind, so why not complement your yoga practice and indulge in one or more of the massage / therapies we always make available – whether this be a traditional Hamman spa experience or massage over looking the sea – it certainly tops off any weekend.
All treatments are extra and paid directly to the therapist.
When you’re not immersed in Yoga there’s always plenty for you to do whether we are city or seaside:
• Markets/ medinas, secret gardens and museums – all things Moroccan
• Hanging out and sampling the local cafe culture with your new found friends
• Cycling (there are often bikes available for use)
• Walking / Running
• Sunning yourself by the pool or on the beach
• Kayaking and Surfing
• Reading (feel free to borrow from the retreat library)
• Sampling the best local wines
• Listening to music/ own practice
• Snoozing – don’t underestimate an afternoon nap
All food is prepared especially for us on site to ensure we are served fresh vegetarian gourmet food – all meals are wholesome, nutritious, very tasty and never boring – it’s soul food!
