VINyasa Yoga and Wine Experience 8-11 June 2018

A Time For You

Art & Yoga Weekend Experience

In parthership with local artist Chrissie Sally, we have developed a long weekend art and yoga experience, especially designed for couples or friends. This is your weekend so you can feel free to choose whether you participate in all planned activities, or you may wish to indulge in some of our other therapies on offer, enjoying some time out in the relaxing surroundings and countryside.

The art elements of your programme will be tailor made to your needs (all levels welcome). In the peace and quiet of Charroux you can take inspiration from the beautiful landscapes and Romanesque architecture of this UNESCO recognised village. Over two days you will have the opportunity to explore your creativity with hands-on tuition to help develop your techniques, and you will be able to explore working in a variety mediums too.

General equipment will be provided but you are free to bring any of your own special equipment such as brushes and paints that you use at home. Paper is provided but not canvasses, which you can buy on site along with any additional supplies you might need. Do also bring a sketch-book to use as a diary and tool to aid observation and exploration.

The retreat is fully inclusive of all yoga and art activities plus all food and beverages over the weekend. Please do let us know of any special dietary requirements you have when booking.

Places are limited to a maximum of 12 people and accommodation will be allocated between the French Yoga Garden and the Artist’s Guest Accommodation at Le Logis de Chassay.

Laid-back & fun

VINyasa Yoga & Wine Weekend 8-11 June 2018

So excited that our June 2018 VINyasa yoga and wine weekend is confirmed. Come and unwind, have some fun and take some time out on the mat, while finding out more about wine and pairings with London-based wine guru Amanda Sefton. Together we have designed an informal, fun, flowing yoga and wine weekend for people with some basic yoga experience upwards. We’ll keep the energy high – the yoga flowing, the wine chilled and everyone smiling! In the bright June sunshine.

The yoga elements have been designed to be warming and opening for the body, stimulating circulation and the movement of energy, leading to more balanced energy and a clearer more active mind. The morning sessions will be deep and dynamic – awakening the senses and building strength and stability. We’ll dial down the afternoon sessions to yin and restorative – to target tight spots and soothe tired limbs – guiding you into a moment of stillness.

Every day will not only stimulate the senses but also the taste-buds too, as you will love, love, love eating the gourmet vegetarian delights on offer, paired with thoughtful wine choices by Amanda. We will start each evening with an informal wine tasting – forget stuffy, poncy wine lessons – here, we will be out in the garden, by the pool or under the trees, finding out what tickles our taste buds, from local gems to faraway flavours.

So why not come to the country to enjoy some dedicated time out, allowing the mind and body to breathe and decompress, with other like-minded people? This is a fun sunshine weekend in the heart of the French countryside – where the weekend is all about you….The programme won’t stress you out – there’ll be plenty of time to relax, take a massage, go for a hike with new-found friends or simply catch up on rest and sleep without a care in the world, as we lead you through a weekend of pleasure. You won’t want to leave.

The retreat is fully inclusive of all yoga and wine tastings, plus food and beverages over the weekend, and of course accommodation. All you need to do is get yourself here and pay for any treatments you have and we'll do the rest! Please do let us know of any special dietary requirements you have when booking. What are you waiting for?

Take advantage of the early bird offer and book for €475 pp before 31st Jan 2018, then it will be €535 pp.

Places are limited to a maximum of 10 people in shared accommodation.

A Time For You

A Time For You

A retreat is a time for YOU, a time to look inward away from your usual distractions – a time to escape, relax and recharge.

Lose yourself in two blissful daily yoga practices, nurture yourself with wholesome, gourmet vegetarian food and take lots of time-out for yourself.

Swim in the clear pool, sun yourself on the secluded terrace, walk for miles in the countryside without seeing a soul or indulge in an afternoon nap in one of our many hammocks – simply follow your bliss.

Laid-back & fun

Laid-Back & Fun

The Yoga will be a mix of Hatha flow in the morning to awaken your energy and yin/restorative yoga with yoga nidra in the evening to set you up for a restful night’s sleep.

The retreats are laid-back and designed to be fun! They also provide you with unique opportunities to try other less familiar forms of yoga –such as aerial yoga using hammock silks for comfort and support, and stand up paddle-board yoga on the nearby river Charente.

Refine your Yoga Practice

Refine Your Yoga Practice

All of our classes will be progressive over the week-end and will take place in the rustic open-sided garden studio and yoga yurt.

All levels are most welcome.

You have come to relax and unwind, so why not complement your yoga practice and indulge in one or more of the massage therapies we offer?

Our qualified English-speaking therapist will meet the group to discuss individual needs.

All treatments are extra and paid directly to the therapist.
